Please read our terms and conditions carefully before purchasing tickets or joining our community.

Welcome to Salwa Collective
By purchasing tickets to our events or joining our community, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Event Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions

Refunds

We do not process refunds unless we have to cancel the event. If you can no longer attend please get in touch to let us know as we sometimes have a waiting list, and your spot can be passed on to another community member, however this is not guaranteed.

Do keep in mind the terms of service when booking on to attend, and only register if you are 100% sure that you are available to attend, as by registering you are agreeing to these terms of service and that you understand that we do not offer or process refunds unless an event has to be cancelled on our end.

Ticket Transfer & Exchange Policy

Tickets cannot be exchanged for a different event or series. However, if you can no longer attend, your ticket may be sold to another community member up to 72 hours before the event, with prior approval from the Salwa Collective team.

Please note that tickets cannot be transferred on the day of the event, and all transfers must be communicated and approved in advance.

No Shows

If you book on for an event, and on the day do not show up and do not inform us that you aren't able to attend then you are classed as a "no-show", and you are taking responsibility to pay for any fee that we are charged or incur due to our numbers not being what we had arranged for.

We appreciate that life happens and that sometimes you cannot attend events that you had hoped to, however we simply ask that you send us a message to let us know if you're no longer able to attend. Sadly we've had multiple events where a significant number of community members just did not show up. If you are a no show to an event and do not give us notice that you will no longer be attending, by booking a ticket for the event you are agreeing that you will pay for any fee that we incur due to the no-show.

No Show Policy

If you do not show up for more than two Salwa events in a row then you will be removed from the community. We appreciate that life happens, however if someone regularly signs up for events and then doesn't turn up it is rude and disrespectful towards our team and other community members, and it is just not at all fair, so if this behaviour happens more than once we will be removing the individuals from the community unless there are valid reasons not to.

Event Changes

Event schedules or venues may be changed if necessary. All registered attendees will be notified via WhatsApp/email. No refunds will be given for changes outside our control.

Ticket Inclusions & Costs

Unless explicitly stated on the individual event registration page, your ticket is solely to attend the Salwa event and does not include anything further. Some of our events include an activity, food, drink, goodie bag or additional elements, if this is the case this will be fully listed and outlined on the registration page.

Accessibility

We always aim to ensure that every venue we use and event that we run is in a fully accessible venue to accommodate all community members, but on occasion this isn't possible for all needs and requirements.

If you have specific accessibility needs please do reach out to us via email prior to booking on for an event so that we can confirm that the venue has everything in place to ensure that you will be able to attend and access all elements of the event in the best way, whether your needs are to do with physical access, hearing, facilities, allergy based or something additional.

As per the booking policy and terms of service you agree to when registering, we do not offer refunds unless we have to cancel an event. So if you do have concerns or questions regarding accessibility please get in touch before booking a ticket so that we can make sure these are answered in full to give you all the information you may need!

Data Protection / Privacy

By registering for an event or joining our community spaces, you agree that Salwa Collective may store and use your provided information for event administration, communication, and safety purposes. Your information will never be shared or sold to third parties. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Photography & Content Usage

By attending a Salwa Collective event, you consent to being photographed or filmed. These may be used for marketing or documentation purposes. If you are uncomfortable with this, please inform a team member before the event begins so we can accommodate you and respect your wishes.

Community Member Rules, Terms & Conditions

Be Kind

Salwa Collective is a safe space. We want this to be a place where people can feel comfortable, safe & at home. So please be kind and considerate to all within the community.

No Hate or Bullying

Hate, bullying, nastiness, racism, peer pressure or abuse within the group will not be tolerated - whether this is in posts or comments within the community, at events or direct messages to other members. Any behaviour of this kind is totally unacceptable and will result in you being removed and banned from the community.

No Sales or Recruitment

This is not a sales, network marketing or recruitment group. We do not allow recruitment content, whether this is for paid or voluntary roles, or business opportunities. We do not allow within this community prospecting, sales or recruitment for network marketing opportunities. We do not allow sales of any kind or financial transactions within our digital forums including external tickets.

No Promotions or Advertising

We do not allow promotions or advertising within Salwa Collective whether this is in our digital forums or at our in person events. This is not a place for free advertising. If you would be interested in advertising to our community members or discussing a partnership, you can get in touch with us via email.

No Spammy Content

No spammy or inappropriate content to be shared within our online forums or on posts within them.

No Promotion and Advertising of Groups

We do not allow promotion & advertising within the community. This includes similar groups, organisations, concepts, sports teams, social clubs or communities. Please be respectful of Salwa Collective, our members, team, founders and the community we have built here, this is not a space for free advertisement for your group or project, if you are wanting to promote something new that you are doing please do so via your own channels. If you are interested in collaborating, our events or working on a project together please get in touch via email.

Do Not Use the Salwa Collective Name Without Consent

The Salwa Collective name, or that of any of our branches, cannot be used for any group/event/service etc. outside of the community without explicit prior consent from founder Yasmeen Naumova.

Illegal Activity

Salwa Collective is not responsible or liable for any illegal or immoral activity undertaken by our community members. If any member is found to be taking part in illegal activity within our digital forums or at our events they will be immediately removed from the community, or asked to leave the event. If necessary we will also work with or support relevant authorities in investigations into this illegal activity.

Demographics

Salwa Collective is an over 18's only community. By joining our digital forums, signing up or attending one of our events, you are confirming that you are over 18. Anyone found to be under the required member age will be removed from the community due to child protection regulations.
